In The Mood To Be Amazed

Engulfing Adelaide with its indescribable atmosphere, Fringe is back for another year. Taking over Adelaide, her surrounding suburbs and even some regional areas of South Australia for 31 magical days and nights each year The Fringe is sure to leave the city pulsing with creativity.

With free events, ground breaking work, new talent, innovative thinking and original voices, the Fringe is ready to unleash the fun for everyone! If you are having a hard time choosing, here are my top picks for this year.

Paul Dabek - Encore

Magic shows are my favourite! So last year’s fringe winner of "Best Magic Show" is an easy pick. British showman Paul Dabek returns to show us why he is widely regarded as one of the funniest magicians on the planet! Quick wit and theatrical flair that captivates all ages is sure to be a winner in my books.

Opening Night - Tindo Utpurndee - Sunset Ceremony

Welcome in the 2018 Adelaide Fringe at the event everyone is invited to. The Sunset Ceremony recognises the living culture of the First Nations and to pay respect to the spirit of the land. When you walk in someone else’s country it is always important to walk softly and with respect.

North Terrace will come alive with an all encompassing street party, night markets, food and wine, artist performances, and music.

The I Hate Children Children's Show Rock and Roll Spectacular!

This is one for the little ones. The banter is non-stop and hilarious, the wit is razor sharp and the music will have you dancing in the aisles. I can't wait to take the girls - there is nothing better than a children's show with just the right amount of wit to have the adults giggling.
