The Adelaide Hills region is easily one of my favourites, so naturally Crush Festival is one of my favourite times of the year. Think a sensory summer weekend of stylish wines, regional produce, earthy music, art and theatre. The festival is filled with many events from a number of local producers, if you can only make it to one - here's my pick.
Longview Vineyard has once again turned the notion of a wine event on its head by taking
its highly popular Crush Festival event, The Piece Project to a whole new level this year.
It's 4 Australia street artists battling it our for their chance to be featured on the label of Longview's 'The Piece' Shiraz. While the artists get to work, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a slow-cooked BBQ, some of the tastiest drop going around, and all-day beats...but wait for it.
It’s a first for the Adelaide Hills Crush Festival, world renowned DJ, Norman Jay MBE will
lead an all-star lineup, spinning trademark soul, funk and jazz fusion at the festival’s biggest
event, The Piece Project. Joining Norman Jay on the decks is Mobile Disco mastermind Eric Powell, and SA’s beardedbest Ryley Smithson to mash up all things music.
Want to come? Longview has offered my friends and followers the early bird ticket price of $30, right up until the 24th of Jan at 9am. Just head to Moshtix to purchase the tickets and pop in this promo code: 'PPHELLO'.
